Santa Walter Logo

Santa Walter's logo has been developed for a clean look to tie the complex part of Santa Walter's life together that is related to being Santa Claus.

Included in that complexity is Santa Walter's involvement with the eJournal "Santa's Gazette: Jingle Press Online" as well as the eMagazine "Santa's Society: A Portal for Santa Connections".

Look for further development and enrichment over the next 6 weeks or so. Santa Walter's keyboard is cranking out several articles and white papers to support Santas around the country as they prepare for next season. With the added complexity of a series of blogs to keep up on, the umbrella site: http://santawalter.com will be added soon as a necessity to keep the confusion down to a dull roar.

Marketing Santa for 2009

Marketing Suggestions for Santas in 2009
by Santa Walter

Building any business requires finding and connecting to customers. The most successful Santas that reach the most effective connections with children of all ages in their persona, do so by networking and making connections in advance of Santa visits or events.

That magic begins with the proper attire and attention to beard grooming.

Once the Santa product is up to standard, with professional quality photos to document it, then the marketing materials, both print and virtual, should be planned and formalized. Niche markets, such as Pre-school visits, company parties, private parties, charity and various public appearances need to prioritized.

Next, what Santa says and does in various scenarios should be planned and practiced as monologues until smooth and natural.

Meanwhile, a systematic marketing plan is underway with prospecting calls, contacts, in-person presentations, mailings (postcards, emails, newsletters), as well as casual contacts 'in the elevator'.

And when the phone starts ringing, smile just before answering! Even in a recession, Santa can be successful by being proactive.

Santa Chair Construction Rain-delayed

Because it is raining, and the world presses in sometime, the new Santa Chair, which is really exciting, has been delayed again. Hopefully, construction can happen Saturday! It is constructed from 1/2 plywood, oak veneer.

The ergonomically designed chair is designed to fit Santa Walter's measurements, and to meet the widest possible range of photography situations. For starters, it sits up on a 10 inch base (with storage lid that opens under the chair. The base is 29 inches deep from front to back, and is 48 inches wide across the front. With a pull-out drawer-step along the front, (5 inches high by 32 inches wide by 11 inches from front to back), children can step up to get to Santa. By raising the whole chair so it sits up, Santa's face is in the zone of those who may be standing to the sides or behind.

While the construction is not yet ready to pose for pictures, the chair promises to pose soon, even if not finished yet!
